
Shorwell Parish Hall is a memorial hall, built in 1922 by public subscription to celebrate the outbreak of peace after the first world war and to commerate the men of the village who died in the conflict.
It provides a great community space available for hire to enjoy all sorts of activities, events, clubs, groups, meetings, training sessions, dances, exercise sessions, drama productions, parties, celebrations, fundraisers etc.
The hall is situated in the small village of Shorwell, set within an area of outstanding natural beauty.
There are beautiful walks in the area and the hall is a very convenient base/pit stop for organised/group walks.
Accommodation
Extended and modernised, the hall has an entrance lobby, a large main hall, toilets, disabled access and disabled toilets, kitchen and small annexe space.

Well equipped modern kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge, tableware and some cookware
Tables and chairs (main hall can seat up to 90)
PARKING: Two good sized car parks and also on road parking often available
Stage
Please indicate, when booking, if use of the stage is required, (otherwise this area is out of bounds, for safety reasons)
Hiring Arrangements
The space is available for hire on a sessional basis to individuals and groups.
Sessions run from:
9am – 2pm
2pm – 6pm
Evenings from 6pm
